TheDailyPreview WARWICK CASTLE PRINCESS TOWER EVENT BUDDING Rapunzels can start their search for a handsome prince over the summer holidays with a complimentary trip to Warwick Castle.
The historic landmark is offering all merry maidens – or heroic knights – free entry to the castle from today if they have beautiful waist-length hair.
The offer runs throughout the summer until September 6 and the spellbinding treat for those with flowing tresses celebrates the first anniversary of the Princess Tower.
The tower has become a family favourite since opening last July and gives little princesses the chance to enter Princess Arabella’s dressing room to help her prepare for her forthcoming wedding.
Mini-guests can delve into the magical dressing-up box filled with glittering tiaras while gallant knights can try on armour for size.
Georgina Kelly, of Warwick Castle, says: “Since it opened, the Princess Tower has proven to be one of our most popular attractions with little girls and boys desperate to be given the royal treatment.
“We so pleased with how successful the tower has been and we want to celebrate that success by offering everyone with beautiful, Rapunzel-like hair free entry to the castle throughout the summer.”
For those with slightly less hair, a day pass for a family of four is available from pounds 47 if booked in advance online from www.warwick-castle.com MARION MCMULLEN
